The Jersey Coast Anglers Association ( JCAA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1981 with a goal to combine a loosely fragmented group of marine sportfishing clubs in order to form and promote a united consensus on issues relevant to saltwater anglers in NJ. They are now an association of more than 75 saltwater fishing clubs that represents the position of marine sport anglers, supports their causes, and protects their rights.
The U.S. Geological Survey ( USGS) serves the Nation by providing reliable scientific information to describe and understand the Earth; minimize loss of life and property from natural disasters and enhance and protect our quality of life. The diversity of their scientific expertise enables them to carry out large-scale, multi-disciplinary investigations and provide impartial scientific information.
The Billfish Foundation ( TBF) was founded in 1986 and is now the only non-profit organization dedicated solely to conserving and enhancing billfish populations. Their tagging program is now the world's largest international billfish tagging program. TBF works worldwide to advance the conservation of billfish and associated species to improve the health of oceans.
The American Striper Association ( ASA) is a strong member based organization that has become the nations "Premier Striper Tournament Series". They conduct tournaments from Massachusetts to North Carolina.

Coastal Conservation Association
NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service ( NOAA's Fisheries Service), as a division of the Dept. of Commerce, is responsible for the stewardship of living marine resources and their habitat. They are responsible for the management, conservation and protection of living marine resources within an Economic Zone (water three to 200 mile offshore). They assess and predict the status of fish stocks, ensure compliance with fisheries regulations and work to reduce wasteful fishing practices.
